Best thing about my role at Maven: Coming in from university I hadn’t really seen a lot of industry standard code, and I was worried that I’d pick up bad practices starting my first role. But Maven has really given me a solid foundation in programming. Everyone is so experienced that there’s a wealth of knowledge to learn from, not to mention how enthusiastic everyone is when it comes to sharing that knowledge. Through training and code reviews and routine feedback sessions, I’ve been able to increase both my skills and confidence as an engineer and my teammates are the ones to thank for that.
